Recent lava flow and actual ash eruption
The picture was taken in approximately 2950 m south of the SEC of Mt. Etna. In the foreground of the picture you can see an old lava flow. Meanwhile the the activity shifted to the backgroudn of the picture, to the South East Crater (SEC) itself.
