Acireale is the largest of the towns situated on the eastern slopes of Etna. Among the most noteworthy monuments are the cathedral, the church of Saint Sebastian and the Zelantea Library one of the best endowed in Sicily. Aci Castello  is a small fishing village in the Eastern coast of Sicily. The most interesting monuments are the Chiesa Madre and the Norman Castle.
