The crater is tall around mt. 400 and around 40 minutes are needed for a climbing to normal footstep. The road is easy but in some lines steep. The guide is not obligatory and you can freely  climb. Its deep sea is famous for the transparency of the water.
  • Day 5: Stromboli: It is one of the most fascinating excursions of Eolian Islands, you spend your time on the summit of the crater to observe the continuous explosions. From the zone north of the island, Piscità, to the mouths, around 3 hours of run are needed in slope. It is obligatory and advisable to climb with the guides both because there are some zones difficult to climb.
  • Day 6: Etna Summit: We prepare for a long tour of etna volcano towards Etna’s summit craters. We follow a little-known ascend route that reaches the rim of the Valle Del Bove after an easy, about 30 minutes walk. We  reach the area near the former Torre del Filosofo mountain. Until here, the hike will take us around 5 hours. Depending on the circumstances (weather, volcanic activity), we can continue, in the afternoon to climb the summit craters (ca. 1.5 hrs climbing at normal pace).
  • Day 7: Etna North: Today, we undertake an Etna excursion on Etna's North side dominated by green forests and lava deserts . Depending on weather, we undertake a relaxed, moderate hike in this area, visiting an old lava cave and  the volcano's NE rift zone with its row of craters. To visit the cave, all necessary equipment (crampons, helmets, gloves etc.) will be provided. The round trip to the cave will take us about 7-8 hours.
