On feet and without shoes he is come down from the top of the volcano Etna (nearby the lava tap on the crater) between hot lava and icy snow. An unique experience: “I have had to hop without warning, when I have felt under my feet the hot land after the ice. The temperature passes from under zero to hundreds of degrees, without intermediate passages”, Said the 47 years old Vicentino policeman, “the impact with the Etna has been extraordinary. It gives me an absolutely special emotion: living this adventure to tightened contact with the fire of lava, near the tap, as I could never have imagined”.
 
The Athlete is not new to these performances, already in passed has distinguished itself for scaled of various higher summits of the world. “It's my first time with the snow and the ice and the hot earth of the volcano. Entirety has transmitted a particular energy to me, as it is never happened before” asserts Perry. The intiative has been promoted from the association "Door of the Etna" of Nicolosi, in collaboration with the "Park of the Etna" and the "Common of Nicolosi". His passion is born in 2002 when, for case, on the canaloni pebbly of the Carega, Perry removes his shoes begins to run towards them. Between his epic experiences we can remember the reduction from the mount Crystal, the Sinai, Ecuadorian volcanos, the Great Pebble, the Tofane and the way of the Dolomites. In the past year he has gone to the conquest of the Kilimangiaro. Every enterprise of Tom Perry binds together of an action of beneficence.
