The James Taylor Quartet and the Mike Stern Band

The first edition of the review “In Jazz” will be in the Amphitheater “Falcone - Borsellino” of Zafferana Etnea, with the James Taylor Quartet and the Mike Stern Band.

The exhibition of the James Taylor Quartet is attended for the 10 July 2007. The group becomes famous in 1985 with the cover of the song “Blow-up” of Herbie Hancock. In 1986 they publish “Mission Impossible”, that comprises the cover of the acronyms of the television films of '60, and in 1988 they create the song of the film “Austin Powers”.

The 24 July, the appointment is with the band of Mike Stern, one of the best jazz guitarist of the music's history. Mike Stern does his debut in 1986 with “Upside Downside”, and in '90 he participates to the Grammy Awards with three nominations. In 1993 he was named the best jazz guitarist.
