This show is dedicated to Sicilian musical instruments. The opening of this edition will be near the monastero of the Bendettini of Catania, thursday 19 Aprile, the idea is to connect Sicily with the Mediterranean and the rest of the world through music.  Between the instruments there are the marranzano and also the Tamburello.

 

The stars of this edition will be: Ancient Alfio, Glen Velez & Lori Cotler (USA), Leo Tadagawa (Japan), Layne Redmond (USA), Bijan Chemirani (iran), Pine imba (Salento) and Fabio Tricomi (Sicily). Is previewed an Extension of musical instruments and concerts. The Festival is cured by the Association MoMu Mondo di Musica in collaboration with the University of the Studies of Catania, Letter Faculty and Philosophy, Foreign Faculties of Languages and Literatures. In synergy with the Councillorship to the Culture of the Common one of Catania, with the sponsorship and the contribution of the Regional Province of Catania and the Sicilian Region.
