Situated in the Common of Randazzo, it is the only lake in Europe formed by a lava obstruction. The lake was originated during the eruption of 1536. Its humid atmosphere, allows the grow of wondeful plants and it's the place where, during the period of migrations, it is easy to see numerous birds, like the duck, the hawk, the airone that captures the fishs and many others.
