The smells and the favors of the Mount Etna, today, find their just acknowledgment, through the denomination of products D.O.P (Denomination of Protected Origin). The honey, the pistachio nut, the olive oil, are some of the products that deserve indeed of being mention, and above all tastes from who of the Etna wants to discover all, from its sublime beauty to the prelibate delights that this offers to us

  • The Honey of Zafferana Etnea: Here to Zafferana Etnea , the honey production covers 16% of the entire Italian territory.  In passed many shepherds, having seen the potentiality and the wealth of this product, they have decided to dedicate itself to the bee-keeping. The production of this product, absolutely good and healthy, has been developed in the time. The laborious bees, give us honey of every type, from that one to the orange, to that one to the thymus; from that one to the plants of eucalyptus to that one of chestnut tree. Not to forget the propoli produced from the bees, one risen of useful natural antibiotic to our organism.   Index  
  • The Pistachio nut of Bronte:The Sicily is the only Italian region in which the pistachio nut is produced, and Bronte turns out to produce  the 80% of  the entire sicilian territory. The earth of the Etna gives a wonderful fruit to us, from the sweet favor, delicate and aromatic. In the zone nearly thousand producers with small land plots of ground, and some large producer for a market are available that finds wide breath abroad.                              Index 
  • The Sicialian Pecorino: This good cheese not only is produced in the etnee zones, but also in the rest of the sicilian territory. Our shepherds realize an unique product, from the hot smell, that  is born from milk entire and the added of lamb rennet.      Index
  • Sicilian Olive Oil Extravergine of Mount Etna:This oil is produced from many of etnee commons: Adrano, Belpasso, Biancavilla, Bronte, Camporotondo Etneo, Castiglione of Sicily, Maletto, Maniace, Motta S.Anastasia, Paternò, Ragalna, Randazzo, Saint Maria di Licodia and San Peter Clarenza. In order at least 65% are obtained from the variety “Nocellara Etnea”, than  gives to the oil from the favor yielded with one light feeling of bitter and hot.   • Ficodindia of the Etna:The production area is concentrated in the territory of the common  of Bronte, Adrano, Biancavilla, Saint Maria di Licodia, Ragalna, Camporotondo, Belpasso and Paternò. Of this fruit we have various varieties: the yellow dictates also Sulfarina or Nostrale, red said also the Blood, the white dictates also Muscaredda or Sciannarina.    Index
