The sicilian term "Fiumara" indicates a dry river. This river is the ancient "Halesus" that slid between the Nebrodi mounts.

"Fiumara of art" is a museum in the open air where it is possible to admire monumental sculptures created by important international artists. 

The first opera of Fiumara art "La materia poteva non esserci"(the matter could not be), is to a short distance from the Tusa river. It's a great sculpture of two elements, by the sicilian artist Pietro Consagra. 

An other wonderful opera is "Monumento per un poeta morto"(Monument for a dead poet) of Tano Festa, dedicated to the poet Lo Savio. 

Near Castel di Lucio, there are many sculptures. The first sculpture is "una curva gettata alle spalle del tempo" (a curve thrown to the shoulders of the time), of Paolo Schiavocampo. A monument of reinforced cement and iron, placed in a campaign area. 

An other masterpiece is "Arianna" of Italo Lanfredini, connected to the classic culture.  
In Castel di Lucio, it can be admired "Arethusa", a decorated structure of Pietro Dorazio and Graziano Marini. 

Along the SP (provincial road) Castel di Lucio-Mistretta, you can see "Il muro della ceramica" (the ceramic's wall), an ancient wall realized by national and international artists. 

A monument of unusual beauty, is "La stanza di barca d'oro" (the room of gold boat) which is near Romei river, by the Japanese artist Hidetoschi Nagasawa. 

Between the several monuments, we find "L'onda mediterranea" (the Mediterranean wave) of Antonio Di Palma, constituted by little indispensable lines.
