A fascinating way to know the beauties of the Etna is the circumetnea, a railroad that from 1859 goes through the small villages that are placed in the slopes of the volcano. The Etna tour offers the possibility to enjoy the wonderful landscapes that characterize the etnea zone, from the cultivated fields, to lands covered with the black basaltic cliff.

 

The service is active from  monday to  saturday, and you can leave  from the station of Catania, in Via Etnea, or from Giarre, near the station of Trenitalia. On Sunday, instead, is  possible to leave with a littorina of 1937 for a tour to discover the best wine cellars in order to taste wines and the typical products of the Etna.
